KANKAKEE, IL – Stefari Café, a local favorite, is moving to a new location to expand its menu and extend its hours.

The café’s last day at its current location, the Majestic, will be May 13th, and the new location will open later.

According to the owners, the new space has been custom-built to meet the needs of the café and its customers. The café will continue to offer its delicious menu items, and will also add cocktails and wine to its offerings. The new café will have cold brew on tap and mocktails.

The owners, Stefan and Ariel Frunze, plan to have as little downtime as possible between the move and reopening at the new location. The new café will be located in approximately 3,000 square feet in the southern-most portion of the four-unit property at 267 S. West Ave., owned by developer Dustin Kooy.

Due to the type of liquor license, beer will not be served at the location.

More details on a grand opening, hours and more are expected to be released by the Cafe in the coming weeks.
