Channahon Police Investigate Criminal Damage at Channahon Fire Construction Site

CHANNAHON, IL – Officials are investigating criminal damage to the new fire department, and they believe it’s been caused by someone with a good understanding of the construction industry.

According to Channahon Police Department officials, the investigation into criminal damage at the construction site of the new Channahon Fire Protection District’s Station 2 was discovered and reported on early on Wednesday, May 17.

Details specific to the damage at the site have not been released.  Although Authorities believe the person responsible for the crime possesses intimate knowledge of the construction industry, given the method and type of damage inflicted. The precise nature of the damage indicates that the perpetrator had a clear understanding of construction practices and familiarity with the materials used at the site, located at 23370 S Thomas Dillon Dr.
