MORRIS, Ill. – A motorcycle collision Sunday on North School Drive resulted in the arrest of a 48-year-old Morris woman for Aggravated DUI.

Reports indicate Diana Swierk allegedly caused the crash when her vehicle crossed the center line and collided with a motorcyclist.  The motorcyclist reportedly attempted to evade the collision by pulling over, they were unable to avoid the impact.  The driver would be ejected from the vehicle with the motorcycle landing in a nearby ditch.

Swierk, who claimed the motorcycle was trying to overtake her, reportedly had a blood alcohol concentration level well above the legal limit.  She was taken to Morris Hospital and subsequently arrested for multiple charges.

The incident remains under investigation.
