Thumbs Up for Crime? Schererville Police Seek Identity of Vehicle Fraud Suspect

SCHERERVILLE, IN – Police are on the lookout for an individual who allegedly purchased a vehicle using stolen information. 

The subject, captured in photos, can be seen confidently giving a thumbs up, posing with an Audi on the lot of an undisclosed dealership. However, the ownership came to an abrupt halt after it was discovered the purchaser was not who they claimed to be.  The vehicle would later be recovered in Illinois.

Law enforcement authorities are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in this fraudulent transaction.
