BOURBONNAIS – The Bourbonnais Police announced Monday afternoon the results of Friday’s fundraising for Special Olympics Illinois and the Illinois Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics at the annual “Cop of a Rooftop” event.

The annual event raised over $9,000 Friday, split between two Bourbonnais Dunkin’ locations at 112 E Bethel and at Bourbonnais Parkway. The Kankakee County Sheriff’s Department also took part at one of the events.

Those who donated last week received a free donut coupon courtesy of Dunkin’.  No number has been released on how many donuts were given away during the fundraiser.
