Police Seek Help Identifying “Cujo” Suspect in Southlake Mall Robbery

HOBART, IN – Authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying a female suspect known as “Cujo” and a male suspect wanted in connection with a robbery at Macy’s in the Southlake Mall on April 23, 2023.

According to the police, the suspects were captured on surveillance cameras allegedly leaving the store with several hundred dollars worth of merchandise. When a Loss Prevention Officer attempted to stop them, the female suspect allegedly bit the officer’s hand, enabling them to escape.

Detective David Evans is urging anyone with information on the suspects’ identities to contact the Hobart Police Department immediately. Police advise, the female suspect should not be apprehended as she is known to be a biter.
