Boat Rescue: Braidwood FPD Saves Patient in Cardiac Arrest

BRAIDWOOD, IL – In a high-stakes water rescue, the Braidwood Fire Protection District (FPD) sprang into action to save a patient in cardiac arrest aboard a boat Monday afternoon.

Responding swiftly to the emergency near Kankakee Rd & 6000 N Road, the Braidwood FPD deployed their specialized Boat 24 and Ambulance 2425 to the Braidwood Cooling Lake South Ramp. The Braidwood FPD’s quick response and expertise in water rescues exemplify their commitment to preserving life. 

The patient’s condition remains undisclosed at this time.
