High Winds knock Light Pole onto Car Thursday afternoon

FRANKFORT – High winds moving through the area Thursday afternoon left their mark knocking a thirty-foot parking lot light pole onto a car in a parking lot.

According to reports it happened sometime before 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon outside a store at 19917 South La Grange Road when the light pole fell into a four door Honda parked in the lot.  Winds were averaging around 25 miles per hour in the area at the time of the incident.  

No one was reportedly in the vehicle at the time of the accident.
