LOCKPORT, IL – All Herding Breed Dog Rescue is holding a fundraiser event to support their efforts to rescue and find loving homes for herding breed dogs.
The event will take place on April 30th at the Lockport VFW, where attendees can meet and adopt dogs and puppies, and purchase over 1000 dog-related items, such as beds, harnesses, and bowls.
The non-profit organization, which operates solely on donations, rescues dogs from high kill shelters and takes owner surrenders facing hardship. They provide vet care, training, and socialization until they find forever homes for the dogs.
All Herding Breed Dog Rescue is asking for donations ranging from $1 to $25, with the value of items sold worth 5 to 10 times more. Attendees can also purchase food and enter a raffle basket worth $300 with a $5 entry fee.
The organization is dedicated to rescuing and finding loving homes for herding breed dogs, including Border Collies, Australian Shepherds, and Cattle Dogs. They aim to help reduce animal overpopulation by promoting spaying and neutering and educating the public.
The event will be held from 12 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, April 30th, at the Lockport VFW, located at 1026 E. Ninth Street in Lockport. Come out and support a great cause while meeting adoptable dogs and puppies.
