Manhattan Police Alert: Cash Stolen from Local Liquor Store

MANHATTAN, IL – The Manhattan Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect who stole an undisclosed amount of cash from C.D. Liquors at 24600 S. U.S. Route 52. 

The incident occurred Thursday morning, just before 9:00 a.m. The individual, wearing a long sleeve sweatshirt, beanie, sunglasses, and a bandana around their face, was captured on surveillance footage. 

Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Detective Alex Raske at 815-478-4408 or call 911. The community is reminded to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to help maintain neighborhood safety.
