Monee resident dies of injuries after wreck on University Avenue Sunday

MONEE – A local resident is dead following a multi-vehicle crash Sunday night.

According to reports it happened Sunday at 9:30 p.m. when multiple vehicles wrecked at the intersection of University Parkway near Kenzie Avenue.  Will County Coroner Lauire Summers announced the death of one of the victims Monday, 54-year-old Clinton D. Banks of Monee.  Banks was a driver of one of the vehicles involved in wreck and died from injuries sustained in the accident.

The wreck remains under investigation with The Illinois State Police and University Park Police Department.
