Search underway for Driver after Car hits Home off I-57

KANKAKEE – State Police are searching for a driver after a car left I-57 and hit a home.

According to State Police it happened Friday night when a 2004 Acura headed Southbound on the interstate at the time left the roadway and drove through a fence before hitting a home.  The driver of the vehicle left the scene of the crash before first responders arrived to the scene.  

No identification associated with the home hit or vehicle has been released.
