Lockport’s Winter Wonderland: A Spectacle of Holiday Cheer with Santa and More

LOCKPORT, IL — This November 25th, the heart of Lockport will be brimming with the magic of the season, as the City of Lockport, Illinois, Government invites everyone to “Christmas in the Square.” 

The event, set to transform Central Square into a bustling Holiday Winter Wonderland from 1 PM to 4:30 PM, promises an array of festive activities and beloved characters including Santa & Mrs. Claus, The Grinch, and Buddy the Elf, along with live reindeer.

Visitors can indulge in an assortment of treats from local favorites like Auntie Anne’s and Avocado Theory, or get active with skating and snowball fights. A must-see ice sculpture demonstration will commence at 1 PM, followed by heartwarming performances from Dicken’s Carolers, and tales from the White Oak Library. 

The day will culminate with the grand City Christmas Tree lighting at 4:30 PM. Join the celebration to kick off your holiday season with a dash of wonder!
