Lombard, IL – AgeGuide Northeastern Illinois is set to conduct public hearings on April 4 and April 5, 2024, regarding its Fiscal Years 2025-2027 Area Plan for older adults within its eight-county service area.
These sessions, accessible in person and online, aim to gather public input on the planned services and funding allocations detailed in the Public Information Document. Registration for the hearings is available at www.AgeGuide.org/events.
According to AgeGuide, the hearings are a critical platform for community members to voice their opinions on the proposed service designs, funding distribution, and the organization’s involvement in various activities designed to support older adults, their families, and caregivers across DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake, McHenry, and Will counties. The Public Information Document, which outlines the proposed allocations, is open to adjustments based on federal or state budget changes, demographic shifts, or feedback received during the hearings. This document can be reviewed on AgeGuide’s website or requested directly from their office.
This engagement opportunity is part of AgeGuide’s mission to advocate for and address the needs of the elderly population in northeastern Illinois, enhancing their quality of life through a comprehensive network of services and support.
