Los Angeles, CA – Close Call for Man Asleep in Car as Flames Engulf Vehicle

Los Angeles, CA – A man sleeping in his car narrowly escaped as it was consumed by fire. 

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the blaze was reported in the predawn hours  Sunday. Firefighters from Station 75 arrived swiftly at the scene on the 14900 block of Aztec Street to find the sedan ablaze. Fortunately, the man was found unharmed nearby. The cause of the incident remains unclear.

This event raises awareness about the risks of sleeping in vehicles and the importance of safety precautions, such as parking in well-lit areas, keeping a working smoke detector in the vehicle, and having an accessible fire extinguisher. It’s also crucial to ensure that the car’s engine and electrical systems are regularly checked to prevent such dangers.
