Missouri Fire Truck Rolls in Crash, Firefighter Trapped and Rescued

Wiggins, MO – A Wiggins Fire Department engine was involved in a rollover accident around midnight Saturday into Sunday while responding to a major vehicle incident, trapping a firefighter underneath.

According to Chief Purvis, the firefighter was life-flighted to a hospital and, by the grace of God, is expected to make a full recovery. The department is requesting prayers for the firefighter and their family.

The Wiggins Fire Department expressed gratitude for community support and looks forward to the firefighter’s return.
