Homewood, IL – Residents are set for significant roadway enhancements in the coming weeks. The Village of Homewood has released details on the Cook County Department of Transportation’s impending construction project along Ashland Avenue, stretching from 175th Street to Cedar Road.

This project will extend to various sections, including underpass and highway adjustments, with an aim to streamline local traffic. The anticipated completion date is May 1, 2024, hinging on the finalization of permit approvals. Starting April 1, travelers through these areas should plan for possible disruptions and schedule adjustments.
