Veedersburg, IN – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) has announced that a stretch of U.S. 136 in Veedersburg, from Maple Street to U.S. 41, will temporarily close beginning April 9 for asphalt laying and curb work.
According to INDOT, the section will remain closed until later this summer. During the project, lane closures from Mill Street to U.S. 41 will occur, with traffic managed by flaggers. The project is part of a broader initiative expected to continue until fall, dependent on weather conditions.
Commuters are advised to use I-74 between exits 4 and 15 as a detour and to anticipate alternative routes during the closure to ensure driver safety.
