Kansas City, MO – Strong to severe storms are anticipated to hit Kansas City this afternoon, bringing potential wind gusts up to 60 mph and hail measuring up to 1 inch in diameter.

According to the US National Weather Service Kansas City, the storms are expected to develop after 4 PM today, affecting areas from eastern Kansas into western and northern Missouri. The storms carry the risk of producing significant wind damage and hail, posing a threat to both people and property. Additionally, the possibility of isolated tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
