Mystery Crash: Vehicle Plows into Naperville Apple Store

NAPERVILLE, IL – Naperville police are probing a perplexing incident after a Hyundai Elantra slammed into the downtown Apple Store early Monday morning. 

Responding to a call just after 6 a.m. in the 100-block of West Jefferson Avenue, authorities found an empty vehicle lodged in the building, with no suspects on site. The circumstances leading up to the event are still unclear, with police investigating whether this was a calculated smash-and-grab or a mere accident. 

The crash is being investigated as a burglary, with officials yet to confirm the theft of any merchandise.
