Nashville, TN – The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department is on the lookout for Tarice Lamont Smith, 49, who is now facing 44 arrest warrants, including multiple alleged charges related to burglary and fraud.

Smith, identified as a convicted thief and burglar, has been charged with 18 counts of alleged identity theft, 18 counts of alleged credit card fraud, four counts of alleged burglary, and four counts of alleged theft. His arrest earlier this month on similar charges led to his release on a $10,000 bond.

According to reports, Smith’s method reportedly involves accessing non-public areas within businesses, such as employee breakrooms, to steal wallets and credit cards from purses belonging to female employees. These thefts have allegedly enabled him to conduct shopping sprees involving thousands of dollars.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department urges the public to report any sightings or knowledge of Smith’s whereabouts to Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463, where callers can remain anonymous and may qualify for a cash reward.
