Oak Park Business Robbed: Cash, Phones, and Tablets Stolen

Oak Park, IL – Tuesday evening saw an unexpected turn of events for a local Oak Park business. 

According to Oak Park Police reports, at 8:03 PM Tuesday night, a male suspect, estimated to be between 30 and 40 years old, entered the premises. Brandishing a black handgun, he directed employees to the backroom. In a swift move, he emptied the cash register and made away with an unknown number of phones and tablets. 

The escape route he took remains unclear. As the Oak Park community comes to terms with the incident, local police are appealing for any leads or information from the public.
