Palos Park, IL – The Palos Park Police Department (PPPD) is providing well-being checks for seniors, responding to concerns from family members and aiding those impacted by the harsh winter conditions. In anticipation of challenging weather ahead, the PPPD has been actively reaching out to elderly residents in the area.

According to the department, families living far from their elderly loved ones, or seniors needing assistance with snow management and cold weather, can request a well-being check. The service is part of the department’s ongoing commitment to community care, especially during severe weather events.

Residents can request this service by contacting the police either through their emergency line, 911, or the non-emergency number at 708-448-2191. Emails can also be sent to jmiller@palospark.org for assistance. This initiative reflects the PPPD’s dedication to ensuring the safety and well-being of its senior citizens during this challenging period.
