Plainfield, IL – Police are asking for the public’s help in unraveling a crash in front of Vulcan Bolingbrook Quarry July 5th.
According to Will County Sheriff’s investigators, the devastating two-vehicle crash unfolded at the intersection of 22933 W. Hassert Blvd. (111th Street) in front of the Vulcan Bolingbrook Quarry and involved a 2020 white Mercedes SUV and a 2015 dark gray Toyota Camry.
Initial reports say the Mercedes SUV was heading westbound on W. Hassert Blvd., nearing Book Road when it inexplicably veered across the center lines into the eastbound lanes, colliding head-on with the Toyota. The impact caused severe injuries to the driver of the Toyota and a young passenger, both of whom were rushed to nearby hospitals for medical attention.
