PEORIA, IL – On Thursday, February 15, 2024, Peoria Police made a swift arrest in a burglary incident.
According to the Peoria Police Department (PPD), the episode unfolded around 4:40 p.m. in the 2300 block of W. Starr. Police were called to the scene for a residential burglary in progress. Upon arrival, officers encircled the residence, leading to the apprehension of a 13-year-old male suspect.
The young suspect, caught while attempting to flee, was arrested for Residential Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Resisting Police. He was then transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
