Monee, Illinois – A devastating rollover crash near Monee on I-57 left both a person and their loyal canine companion injured.
According to reports it happened early Wednesday morning around 6:40 a.m. when a major accident occurred at Northbound I-57, Mile Marker 337. The vehicle sustaining heavy damage in the crash with a victim and their dog found trapped amidst the wreckage.
Monee Fire Protection District and University Park Fire Department rushed to the scene to extract the victims. No word on either’s condition at this time.
