Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania – Residents across western Pennsylvania can expect a rare streak of dry weather this weekend, with virtually no measurable rainfall anticipated through Monday.

According to the National Weather Service in Pittsburgh, the chance of even 0.01 inches of precipitation across the region remains below 10% through early next week. Forecast models show much of western and central Pennsylvania in the lowest risk tier for measurable rain, with surrounding states like Ohio, West Virginia, and Kentucky facing slightly higher—but still modest—rain probabilities.

Pittsburgh, Butler, and Washington counties are expected to remain dry through at least Monday evening. Outdoor events, travel plans, and yard work should go uninterrupted. PennDOT has not issued any advisories, and road conditions are expected to remain clear throughout the weekend.

Residents are encouraged to stay hydrated and take advantage of the break in storms, especially after several weeks of on-and-off showers. While no rain is expected, UV levels will be high midday, so sunscreen is still advised for outdoor activities.

More updates will follow if rain chances increase, but for now, this dry stretch appears to hold through early next week.
