Kenosha County, WI – A dramatic chase involving reckless drivers today led through a Wisconsin middle school parking lot, triggering security concerns.
The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department reported that around 2:20 PM, deputies pursued three vehicles — a white Dodge Challenger, gray Charger, and a black Jeep — known for reckless driving and illegal passing on Antioch Road, near Salem Grade School. The chase briefly escalated as one of the vehicles sped through the parking lot of Westosha Central High School, prompting a soft lockout to prevent outsiders from entering the school.
Authorities believe the suspects are local residents. Post-chase, the Dodge Challenger was last seen heading south on Antioch Road into Illinois, while the Charger and Jeep were tracked heading north towards Racine County on US-45.
The Sheriff’s Department is actively seeking information on these individuals and requests anyone with relevant details, especially those noticing vehicles matching these descriptions with smoking brakes, to contact their non-emergency line at 262-656-1234.
