Relax by the Fire: Bourbonnais Unveils New Community Campus Firepits

Share post:

Bourbonnais, IL – Residents of Bourbonnais can now enjoy a cozy summer evening by the fire at the Community Campus.

The village has introduced six new firepits, four of which are located along William Latham Drive and two in the Bosque Café area. Each firepit is equipped with a gas-lit timer, ensuring a safe and controlled environment for relaxation.

For those who wish to extend their time by the fire, a convenient button on the side allows for additional warmth. According to village officials, the new setup includes five fixed seats and an additional seat wall, offering ample space for community members to gather. While the area is still under construction, plans are in place to fill the space between the chairs, firepit, and walking path, making it fully accessible to all visitors.
