Riverside goes on lockdown Tuesday after threat

KANKAKEE – A person is in custody after making threats towards Riverside locations throughout the area.

According to reports the hospital and it’s various  remote locations throughout the county went on lock-down Tuesday. It came after a threat was allegedly made by a family member of a patient being treated at one of the locations.

The lockdown was lifted around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday evening.

No details have been released involving the identity of the individual, the threat, or further circumstances surrounding the incident.
