Kankakee County, IL – A collision on Route 17 near Exline Road, east of Kankakee, Illinois, resulted in at least two individuals being hospitalized on Tuesday. The accident, which involved two vehicles, occurred shortly after 2 p.m.
According to the Illinois State Police, the crash took place at the intersection of Route 17 and Exline Road (5500 E Rd). Emergency responders swiftly attended the scene, providing necessary aid to those injured. All lanes of Route 17 were closed temporarily for investigation and cleanup but were reported to have reopened to traffic by 4 p.m. yesterday.
