Severe Storms Threaten Middle Tennessee with Tornadoes and Large Hail

Nashville, TN – Severe storms are expected to impact Middle Tennessee this afternoon and evening, posing a significant threat of damaging winds, large hail, and possible tornadoes.

According to the US National Weather Service in Nashville, the region is under an enhanced risk level 3 out of 5 for severe weather. The primary focus for these storms is along and east of I-65, with scattered storms forming quickly due to unstable conditions. Residents are advised to stay weather aware and have multiple ways to receive warnings as the threat level escalates. The storms are anticipated to be most widespread tonight as a larger batch moves through the area.
