LOS ANGELES – Sir Patrick Stewart was one of thousands in the City to receive a COVID-19 vaccine this week, sharing the experience with fans over social media Friday afternoon.
The English actor, director, and producer ‘boldly’ lined up for a nearly four-hour wait at the mass vaccination Dodgers Stadium site. Stewart praised frontline workers administering the vaccine in the encounter.
Earlier this week, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti proposed the Dodgers Stadium site was probably the largest in the world, administering 7,730 Covid-19 Vaccines Wednesday. L.A. leads all counties in the United States with 14,641 deaths, followed by Chicago’s Cook County in Illinois.
As of Friday, 410,102 deaths had occurred from COVID-19 in the U.S. with 24,627,675 cases reported.
