Six new COVID-19 cases in Kankakee since Saturday, includes 2 children

Kankakee County Health Department announced Monday six new cases of COVID-19 since Friday. It brings the current count to date in Kankakee to 1,241 cases. 

Among cases announced today included two children under the age of 13.

There are currently eight people hospitalized in Kankakee County with COVID-19, out of a total of 237 active cases in the county. Here’s a breakdown of municipalities as of Monday since the pandemic began:

  • 106 Cases (Manteno)
  • 188 Cases (Bourbonnais)
  • 74 Cases (Bradley)
  • 643 Cases (Kankakee)
  • 37 Cases (St. Anne)
  • 38 Cases (Momence)
  • 23 Cases (Pembroke)
  • 13 Cases (Chebanse)
  • 8 Cases (Grant Park)
  • 7 Cases (Bonfield)
  • 6 Cases (Herscher)
  • 6 Cases (Cabery)
