Small Craft Advisory Issued for Western Lake Erie

Detroit, MI – The National Weather Service has issued a Small Craft Advisory for western Lake Erie, effective this afternoon and continuing through Sunday evening. Winds from the east are expected to increase to 15 to 20 knots, with gusts reaching up to 30 knots.

According to the US National Weather Service Detroit/Pontiac, waves will range from 3 to 5 feet, with maximum waves reaching up to 7 feet. Mariners are advised to exercise caution due to hazardous conditions. The advisory will remain in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday.
