South Bend, IN – Fire Department Responds to Two Separate Incidents on Sunday Morning

South Bend, IN – In the early hours of Sunday, South Bend Fire Department units were dispatched to two separate vehicle extrication incidents. 

According to the South Bend Fire Department’s social media updates, the first incident occurred near Goodland and Elwood, requiring extrication and resulting in two individuals being transported to a local hospital for treatment. The second event involved a two-car collision near the 500 block of S. Eddy Street around 3:15 AM, where one patient was extricated and transported to Memorial Hospital. 

The back-to-back operations highlighted the Fire Department’s readiness and the community’s ongoing concern for road safety. Further details on the conditions of the individuals involved were not immediately available.
