South Bend Police Investigate Triple Shooting at Miami Hills Apartments

South Bend, IN – Three people were injured in a shooting early Tuesday in South Bend.

According to the South Bend Police Department, officers responded around 12:20 a.m. to reports of a shooting in the 3400 block of High Street, at the Miami Hills Apartments. Upon arrival, officers found three victims with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to a hospital for treatment.

One person has been detained, and police stated there is no ongoing threat to the community. The investigation remains active and is being handled by the South Bend Police Department’s Violent Crimes Unit
