Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky Under Dense Fog Advisory Until 8 AM

Paducah, KY – A dense fog advisory is in effect until 8 AM for parts of southeast Missouri, far southern Illinois, and western Kentucky. Motorists in low-lying areas and near rivers and lakes should be prepared for rapidly changing visibility.

According to the US National Weather Service in Paducah, Kentucky, visibility could drop to a quarter mile or less. Drivers are advised to stay alert, slow down, use low beam headlights, and maintain a safe distance from other vehicles. The advisory specifically affects Calloway, Christian, Todd, and Trigg counties in Kentucky.
