Tinley Park, IL – The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) has announced a road closure on Oak Park Avenue, from West Point Drive to the CarMax entrance near Prosperi Drive, scheduled for Friday, Jan. 26.
According to IDOT, the closure will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. to facilitate necessary repairs on the Interstate 80 bridge. The road will be completely closed in both directions, prohibiting all through traffic during these hours. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and plan for potential delays.
This closure is part of ongoing efforts to maintain and improve infrastructure safety in the area.
