CHICAGO – The Illinois Department of Transportation has announced weekend lane closures on Interstate 57.
Resurfacing work will take place from 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, until early Monday, Sept. 18, affecting both northbound and southbound lanes between the Tri-State Tollway (I-294) and 127th Street. Drivers should expect delays and are encouraged to take alternate routes.
