WASHINGTON, D.C. — The Department of Defense (DoD) has taken an unprecedented leap in unraveling the mysteries of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP).

On Thursday, the doors have swung open to the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) website, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the world of these puzzling phenomena.

The www.aaro.mil website promises a goldmine of insights, featuring captivating photographs, videos, reporting trends, and a user-friendly FAQ section. Whether you’re an avid UAP enthusiast or a curious passerby, the website’s treasure trove of official reports, transcripts, and press releases offers something for everyone.

By this fall, AARO will launch a secure reporting tool, allowing current and former U.S. government employees, service members, or contractors to directly share their knowledge on UAP-related programs or activities. This initiative, in line with legal regulations, marks a significant stride in the department’s commitment to transparency.

Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, AARO’s Director, expressed his excitement, stating, “AARO has taken important steps to improve data collection, standardize reporting requirements, and mitigate the potential threats to safety and security posed by UAP.  We look forward to using this site to regularly update the public about AARO’s work and findings, and to provide a mechanism for UAP reporting.”

The DoD’s endeavor mirrors Section 1673 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023. While the secure reporting tool takes shape, U.S. service members, government employees, and civil aviators are urged to continue using their existing channels to report UAP sightings.

Guided by a mission to synchronize science, intelligence, and operations, AARO is determined to neutralize the shock of encountering unexplained aerial phenomena. As the website unfolds, a vivid picture emerges of AARO’s pursuit of clarity, embracing the unknown and embodying the highest intelligence standards.

By launching into the enigmatic realm of UAPs, the DoD, through AARO, signals its unwavering commitment to peel back the layers of obscurity and bring these phenomena into the realm of the comprehensible.
