New Lenox, IL – New Lenox’s Silver Cross Hospital extends a supportive hand to stroke survivors and their families with their monthly Stroke Support Group.

The next meeting, slated for the third Wednesday in May, will introduce Pierra Skinner, a Registered Dietitian from Flourish Juice Company. In an engaging session, Skinner is set to offer healthy living tips and demonstrate how to prepare nutritious drinks, aiming to bolster the well-being of attendees.

According to Silver Cross Hospital, the group meets consistently every third Wednesday, providing a platform for sharing experiences and fostering connections among those affected by stroke. The inclusion of expert advice from health professionals like Skinner represents the hospital’s commitment to comprehensive care that extends beyond medical treatment.
