Will County, Illinois Offers Free Pet Microchipping in December

JOLIET, IL – Will County Animal Control Department is providing free microchipping for dogs and cats to county residents until December 30, 2023, as part of their “Home for the Holidays” Program. The service, available by appointment only, aims to help pets return home safely if lost. 

Appointments are open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and require proof of rabies vaccination. The microchipping takes place at 22452 S. Cherry Hill Road, Joliet. Residents can schedule by calling (815) 462-5633 or emailing acontrol@willcountyillinois.com.
