Will County, Illinois: Route 30 Accident in New Lenox Leads to Temporary Closure Thursday Morning

New Lenox, IL – A morning crash led to the temporary closure of Route 30 in both directions between Vine Street and Nelson Road. 

The New Lenox Police Department has since cleared the accident site, and all lanes have reopened. Authorities have confirmed that there were no serious injuries from the incident. The road was closed as emergency crews worked on the scene but is now clear for travel. 

The police have advised drivers to remain cautious in the area and expect further information to be released following the investigation.
