Potential Tornado Threat Looms North of I-70 Corridor in Ohio

Wilmington, OH – The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, has issued a severe weather alert for Tuesday afternoon and evening, warning of significant risks including large hail, damaging winds, and potential tornadoes, particularly near or north of the I-70 corridor. Residents are advised to prepare for severe weather conditions expected between 4 PM and 11 PM, with isolated strong to severe storms possible earlier from noon.

According to the National Weather Service, the area is under a Level 3 severe weather risk. Primary threats include large to very large hail and strong, damaging winds, while a secondary concern includes a few possible tornadoes.
