Urgent Pet Food Recall Hits Stores in Five States including Pennsylvania, Virginia

STATESVILLE, NC – A recent health alert has been triggered as Blue Ridge Beef recalls its Breeders Choice Raw Pet Food due to a salmonella outbreak. 

On Friday, the FDA flagged the potential risk tied to the Breeders Choice 2# log dog food, drawing concern for both pets and humans. Symptoms of Salmonella in humans include nausea, vomiting, and severe diarrhea, while pets might exhibit symptoms ranging from diarrhea to fever and lethargy. 

Distributed mainly in retail stores across Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia between August 9 and 25, consumers are advised to immediately stop using the product and reach out to Blue Ridge Beef for refunds.
