Nashville, TN – Middle Tennessee is set to experience significant rainfall and scattered thunderstorms over the coming week, according to the National Weather Service in Nashville. The forecast predicts the heaviest rain and strongest thunderstorms on Wednesday, with the potential for gusty winds and heavy downpours.

According to the National Weather Service, total rainfall amounts through Friday morning are expected to range from 1.5 to 2 inches, particularly around Nashville, Columbia, and Smithville. Daily temperatures will vary, with highs in the mid-80s and lows in the mid-60s.

The week will start with a 40-70% chance of rain today, continuing with a 30-60% chance on Tuesday. Thursday also shows a high likelihood of precipitation at 30-50%. Conditions are expected to clear up slightly by Friday, with only a 10-20% chance of rain.
