False Alarm in Wisconsin: Kenosha Park Robbery Revealed as Hoax

Kenosha, Wisconsin — The Kenosha County Sheriff’s Department reported a fabricated armed robbery incident at Fox River Park, initially claimed to have occurred at around 11:20 AM Monday morning.

The supposed victim later admitted to fabricating the story due to personal issues. The investigation, involving extensive resources including K9 units, drones, and the Wisconsin State Patrol, lasted until approximately 1:45 PM. 

The Sheriff’s Department emphasized their commitment to thorough investigations and community protection, and criminal charges are being sought against the individual for the false report.
