Peoria Police Arrest Four in Late-Night Trespassing Incident; Firearms, Drugs Seized

PEORIA, IL – In a late-night operation on Sunday, Peoria Police apprehended four men following a reported trespassing incident in the 800 block of W. Hurlburt. 

According to police reports the incident, occurring around 1:46 a.m., involved a suspect allegedly armed with a gun. Police pursuit led to the capture of all suspects after a foot chase. A loaded handgun was allegedly recovered during the search.

Among the apprehended, Brandon T. Dunnigan, 25, and Trendale Harris, 24, faced arrest due to outstanding warrants. Christopher L. Brown, 32, was charged with alleged Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Methamphetamine possession, unlawful weapon possession by a felon, and firearm possession without a valid FOID Card. All three were taken to Peoria County Jail.
