Milwaukee Tragedy: Hit-and-Run Kills 4-Year-Old Girl; Mayor Expresses Outrage

Milwaukee, WI – A devastating hit-and-run incident in Milwaukee has claimed the life of a four-year-old girl and left her mother seriously injured. 

The tragedy occurred on Teutonia Avenue between Good Hope and Green Tree roads around 11:30 AM today. Mayor Cavalier Johnson, visibly angered, addressed the media at the scene, expressing his profound frustration over the callousness of the incident.

According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the mother and daughter were crossing the street when they were struck by a vehicle that then fled the scene. The impact of the collision was severe, leading to fatal injuries for the child and multiple fractures for her mother. Mayor Johnson condemned the driver’s actions, emphasizing the heartbreak and disruption caused to the family and community.

As investigations continue, Mayor Johnson urged witnesses and anyone with information to come forward and assist in identifying the driver responsible for this heinous act. The Office of Community Wellness and Safety, along with local police, are coordinating efforts to bring the perpetrator to justice.
